I'm a Principal Software Engineer with 9+ years of experience building fintech and digital banking platforms. I currently work at Aion Digital, a fintech company delivering digital banking solutions to banks across the GCC region, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
My focus is on Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and microservices architecture — designing and building systems for digital onboarding, corporate banking portals, digital wallets, and payments. I care about pragmatism and simplicity: I'd rather ship a solution that's easy to reason about than one that's clever for its own sake, and I lean on Agile methodology to keep delivery predictable.
Before Aion Digital, I worked at Zameen.com (EMPG), Pakistan's largest property portal, and at BrainPlow, a US-based startup incubator, where I got my start as a full-stack developer.
Beyond Work
Outside of engineering, I'm a badminton player, a traveler, and a full-time family man. I also enjoy speaking and mentoring — sharing what I've learned about building software teams and fintech systems with others earlier in their careers.
